• Cove Protocol

Led the creation of Cove, the one-stop asset management protocol for earning onchain. Designed and developed Cove to simplify complex DeFi strategies into accessible, yield-bearing products, raising $4M in total funding from investors including Electric Capital, Echo (Kain Warwick & Jed Breed), Accomplice, Robot Ventures, Daedalus, and others. Advised by Tarun Chitra (Gauntlet/Robot) and Joey Santoro (Fei).

• Saddle Protocol

Founded Saddle, the first open-source StableSwap protocol (Alliance DAO ALL2), facilitating over $2.2B in transaction volume and becoming the 9th most forked protocol by TVL. Raised ˜$12M from exceptional investors including Electric, Polychain, Framework, Dragonfly, Coinbase, Jump Crypto, Nascent, Delphi Digital, Scalar, notable angels like Robert Leshner (Compound), Kain Warwick (Synthetix), the founders of Arbitrum, and others. Built a strong team, gained key leadership insights, and responsibly managed the wind-down post-PMF challenges.

• Botradar

Tech lead for the infrastructure security team. Designed and shipped a Go service for abusive traffic identification and mitigation at Uber’s network edge (via BGP/RTBH Envoy/NGINX). Resulted in a 94% reduction of failed logins hitting Uber’s infrastructure, from ˜1700 to ˜100 QPS, saving the company ˜$6MM annually.

• Analytics Platform

As a founding member of ATG’s Data Engineering team, co-defined the vision and roadmap for the group’s inaugural analytics platform. Planned and developed the original HIDL-Kafka-Parquet pipeline in Python, enabling first-time access to autonomous vehicle log data modeled in a Hive data warehouse. Owned all platform monitoring and alerting.

• Real-Time Analytics Platform

Architected and delivered a unified query gateway for diverse real-time datastores (MemSQL, Pinot, AresDB). Led design and implementation of Eats Dash, Uber Eats’ primary near real-time business metrics dashboard, ensuring high availability and accuracy.

• Developer Velocity / Operations

Spearheaded the Apollo self-service initiative, reducing data onboarding/migration time from days to hours. Developed a full-stack ES6 React/Flux operational suite for managing batch/streaming ingestion and data integrity.

• Data Services / Tooling

Developed a Python/Flask data validation service (Sentinel) for Hive/Elasticsearch and a Node.js real-time entity editing web app using JSON patches (RFC 6902) for data integrity and management.

• Financial ETL / Testing

Engineered Square’s critical transaction cost ETL pipeline (Kafka, Cascading, Hive) essential for financial reporting. Developed a Ruby/RSpec framework for robust ETL testing, enhancing data warehouse reliability.
